Overview

This FREE webinar will offer attendees an overview of DCAA’s incurred cost oversight, which was changed in the last few years through the issuance of the DoD Professional Practice Guide (PPG) – “Audits and Oversight of Defense Contractor Costs and Internal Controls.” The PPG recommends the adoption of commercial-based risk and materiality and a consistent audit approach, whether audited by an independent public accountant (IPA) or by government auditors, such as DCAA. However, unless you had a DCAA incurred cost audit in the last few years, you may not be aware of how the audit is performed. In this webinar, we will go over the process that will be applied and remove a little of the “mystery.”

Learning Objectives

At the completion of this one-hour webinar, participants will have explored:

  • The impact of the 809 Panel of the NDAA
  • A sampling of Incurred Cost Submissions
  • How the Incurred Cost Audit is conducted

Program Content

During the webinar, your faculty will discuss the following:

  • What to expect when notified by the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) about an incurred cost audit.
  • The procedures and steps involved in the DCAA audit process.
  • Why you may not receive detailed explanations from your DCAA auditor.
  • How to demystify the audit process and prepare effectively.
