Learning Objectives

At the completion of this one-hour webinar, participants will be able to:
  • Identify the common internal control findings in single and program specific audits
  • Explain what it means to establish and maintain internal controls
  • Articulate the basic framework underlying “Standards for Internal Control in the Federal Government” issued by the Comptroller General of the United States or the “Internal Control Integrated Framework”, issued by the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO)
  • Implement best practice for evaluating and monitoring internal controls
