Join Us for the "Accounting System Audits for Government Contractors" Free Training Webinar on July 17, 2019
o v e r v i e w
DCAA is ramping up the audit of government contractor accounting system audits and contractors should beware. DFARS has 18 criteria that a contractor must comply with to have an acceptable accounting system. Although these requirements are contractually required for large contractors, we have found that DCAA is using these same criteria to assess small business accounting systems as well. This webinar will describe the requirements for compliance with DFARS 252.242-7006. We will discuss the consequences of noncompliance as well as DCAA’s current audit approach for these audits.
